` lUbna salim :: small screen's hOttest lady `

Born in a family that had a zest for the theatre, Lubna Salim’s introduction to the stage was a natural progression. Her parents’ attachment to the Indian Peoples Theatre Association (IPTA) led her to act since she was a child. In fact one of her earliest plays was with IPTA. She played the young daughter of Dhania and Hori in the play HORI that was directed by Kamlakar Sontake in 1979.
She has done ad-campaigns for ICICI Bank and for consumer products like Ariel, Pepsodent and others. These days her role as Leela bhabhi in the soap ‘Baa, Bahu and Baby’ has made her quite popular.
